Our friendly Doctors can provide care for you and your family. We focus on ongoing care including health promotion and disease prevention to help manage your family’s health and wellbeing.

MEN’S HEALTH

Men’s healthcare focuses on preventative health measures (including but is not limited to) prostate screening, family planning options, screening, pathology tests and sexual health.

WOMEN’S HEALTH

Our approach to women’s healthcare focuses on prevention to maintain optimum health. Our female doctors specialise in (but is not limited to) regular breast checks, mammography referrals, PAP screening, family planning (including IUD insertion and removal), fertility counselling, and management of menopause and Antenatal Shared Care.

ABORIGINAL & TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER HEALTH

PSYCHOLOGY

HealthSense Gosnells Psychologist is available to provide confidential, independent and professional assistance and may help with:

CHRONIC DISEASE & GP MANAGED CARE PLANS

Our doctor’s can help develop an individualised care plan can help manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis and chronic pain. Some care plan patients are eligible for referral to allied health providers at a subsidised cost.

MINOR ON-SITE PROCEDURES

Our doctors and nurses may assist with minor procedures which may include but are not limited to ‘freezing therapy’ for sunspots, warts and mole, treatment of abscesses, ear wax removal, ECG, Spirometry (lung test), and Oximetry (oxygen level).

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE & WORKCOVER CONSULTATIONS

Our doctors that specialise in occupational medicine aim to treat, manage and prevent injuries, help with return to work planning, pre-employment medicals and WorkCover consultations. Our doctors are registered with InjuryNET.

CO-ORDINATED VETERANS CARE (CVC)

Our CVC program helps plan and coordinate health care for eligible Gold Card holders with one or more chronic conditions, complex care needs and patients who are at risk of unplanned hospitalisation.

PODIATRY

Our podiatrists help treat a number of foot and ankle ailments with the aim to help prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate foot problems including skin problems, calluses and corns, nail disorders (eg. Ingrown toenails), foot injuries, foot infections, and overuse injuries of the foot and ankle.

DIABETES EDUCATOR

Diabetes educator helps provide knowledge for self-care living skills, glucose monitoring, healthy living, food choices, daily exercise, injectable medications and how to manage the ups and downs of blood sugar levels.

PATHOLOGY

Gosnells Healthcare Centre provides an onsite pathology collection service with Clinpath Pathology. Collections open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

BONE DENSITY TESTING

Bone density testing is a medical procedure used to determine bone density or strength.

It may assist in identifying Osteoporosis or Osteopaenia and risk of future bone fractures.

Most tests are quick and pain free.

COSMETIC TREATMENTS

A range of services is now available including wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers including non-surgical lip augmentation, cheek enhancement, jawline definition, tear troughs, marionette lines, temple and facial volume restoration and corrections.

A consultation involves a formal full-face assessment with the aim of achieving a natural, fresh and age-appropriate look.

WOMEN’S CLINIC
