Kerry Ashby – Clinical Psychologist
Kerry Ashby is a fully endorsed Clinical Psychologist based out of Gosnells. She holds a BA (First Degree Honours in Psychology) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Murdoch University. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Her expertise groups include Trauma and Psychology, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Psychology. She has previously held the position of Clinical Psychologist with the Department of Health and has worked in various community and private mental health settings. As a highly experienced clinical psychologist, she has outstanding knowledge and advanced training in dealing with your mental issues. She is also well-versed in dealing with mental health issues across all age groups. She can also consult with other health professionals at our center to provide a holistic assessment of your behavior, emotions and your lifestyle to guide you through your better well-being.
Kerry consults with clients experiencing a range of personal and interpersonal difficulties including depression and anxiety, trauma and post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, adjustment issues, relationship problems, dieting and eating issues, phobias, other mood disorders, addiction, and anger management issues. She takes great care in collecting information about your symptoms and signs to suggest individualized treatment and provide the guidance necessary for your recovery. She is also registered as a Medicare service provider and is a fully bulk-billing clinician.
Kerry uses evidence-based psychological therapy and is trained in a range of psychotherapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
