A great snack that’s tasty, simple to make and easy on your waistline.


3?4 cup self-raising our
1?2 cup brown sugar
1?2 cup shredded coconut
1?2 cup pumpkin seeds
1?2 cup sun flower seeds
1?2 cup sultanas
1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
3?4 cup skim milk
1 egg



  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  • Grease a baking tin and line with baking paper
  • In a bowl, combine our, sugar, seeds, sultanas and apricots
  • In a separate bowl, whisk milk and egg together
  • Combine the two mixtures and mix well
  • Spoon mixture into tin and smooth over
  • Bake for 30 minutes then remove and allow to cool
  • Slice into 16 pieces to serve
